good lordy! this post is so full of frustration. I see that most of these members are giving safety advice in a tough-love kind of way. i wont be mean or insulting about it. I too have done 107 in my tundra, gps claimed it was 108 but that things never right. that was with stock tires. Now i have 285s and as much as i love them i dont believe their speed rating of 110. it feels dangerous at 85 which is more like 95 due to calibration error. its a truck, not a sports car. i keep it under 75.
I have a few rides in my stable, including a 1/4mile killing bug. it hits 106 in 12seconds and feels as risky as it sounds. also have a 98 corvette, speedo says 300! i dont like that thing over 120. fastest i have been is my brothers turbo nsx, 168. no matter the vehicle, all unsafe and foolish speeds. they are just warning you so dont take it the wrong way. while it may feel safe there is nothing wussy about the what ifs when your doing life threatening things. we all know murpys law and hate it.
that being said, it appears unichip is worth calling since 107 bothers you. I didnt see anybody mention underdog (URD) I would try them too.

I'd rather my truck get to the 107 faster than hell than see how much over 107 I could get. In a truck, it's all about the bottom/mid range power anyway!!!
I got my truck way pass 130mph mark, and yes its very scary.
Unichip is a key to remove your top speed. My CEL light is always on (speed sensor fault). Other wise I love that mod, and surprise few tundras on alligator alley

Interesting... all of my research and everything that I have read indicates that
the Unichip does not, will not and can not over ride the built in speed limiter.

Boosted! You are going to get fussed at for taking pictures while driving over 120 MPH. my thought is that if you are going to do it, you might as well go ahead and take a picture of it!

What is your secret?
I got my unichip back in the days, and here is another fellow member (he lives close to me PappaPS) also has one (except he does not have SC)
There is special module that tricks Tundra ECU. (ECU thinks that I am driving 95mph. Pass that time, I can go as fast as I can dare my self. As soon as I'll hit 95+ mph my CEL light comes on, and code reads speed sensor fault). see on picture bellow (roadspeed, that unit removes governor) http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...14-09_1624.jpg
There is no special secret. May be its illegal to remove governor, I am not sure - so that is why Unichip does not want to sell any more speed units that work with their main piggybacks.
If I remove my glove box, I have 4 different modules there (all of them from unichip)

Unichip nor JET will advertise that it will allow you to go over what the truck is set for. It would give Toyota all rights to seek legal actions for making there trucks unsafe to drive.
What many fail to mention is if you can find a Toyota mechanic that can be a little shady and knows the ECU programming he can remove it completely from the ECU and you can go as fast as you would like and not get any warning light (such as in Tiniks place) in the same amount of time he can change your oil. I had mine removed and it costs me 50 bucks and a case of beer but hey everyone has there way of doing things.

mine doesn't throw a code at all.........all I can say is at 100 plus , and you get a cross wind up under you.....it gets hairy......
All I did was to ask Jack at uni-chip to do mine that way....it has been removed since it went in ,in 2003......
H20 MAN.......they will remove it.

Thank you the information PapaPS and tinik.
About two years ago I decided I would leave my Tundra as it is and
focus my attention on a car that is built from the ground up for speed.
My future wife wants the car to be a manual transmission convertible
and I can live with that
