Go over to the Audio, Electrical, and Wiring forum, and do a search on PIE Adaptors. These are devices that plug into the back of the factory head unit so you can hardwire in an aftermarket XM receiver and not have to bother with those stupid FM Modulators.

Default Re: Xm Ready

I put the adaptor in my truck and it works very well. The XM receiver I have ordered is going to go in the recess in the lower dash to the lower right of the steering wheel (kind of above the right knee) and I've already fashioned a mount that uses one of the dash mount screws to attach...all that will be seen is the face of the receiver, and no holes, cuts or velcro needed.
I also used the second available input on the adaptor for a panel mount 1/8" audio plug that I put in the right hole blank in the little recess panel under the ashtray. works great to plug in mp3 players and dvd audio for the kid.
