Default Starting Problems on 2001 Tundra

Today when I went to start my truck, I heard a single click and nothing. I tried about five times with same results.
I had the battery replaced over the weekend but figured I should have it checked out again. Found out battery was fine.
Installed the battery and was seriously considering taking the manifold off to take out the starter so I could have that tested. Before I started to tear into the manifold I figured I would try starting the truck one more time. This time it started with no problems! I turned truck on 3 more times and restarted with no problems. I know it had nothing to do with the battery connections since they were clean.

Any suggestions here on what the problem might be?? Thanks!!!

Check the voltage on your battery to make sure you alternator is charging properly or could do the old timer test and start the truck remove the battery cables and see if the truck will run staight off the alternator.

Its not the alternator because after I had the battery tested, the truck started right up. I did not charge the battery at all.

There is a known problem with starter relays on the earlier models. Search the archives for info. It is like a $65 part.
