Debadging the front grill of an SR5??? - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

I'm looking at getting a 06 tundra SR5 in the next couple of weeks. I don't really care for the chrome grill look. Has anyone taken the chrome strips off? Any tips as to the easiest way to get them off? Will they need to be repainted under the inserts? Thanks!!

I believe there are holes under the inserts, you have to buy a new grill (they come prepainted) someone correct me if Im wrong though

there are your correct at that rate ditch the grill and spend another $240 on a speed grill mesh and try something else they look different and not like the rest of the tundra boring stock grill...

I bought a new limited grille from ebay and painted the emblems black with an anodized type plastic paint... I still have the last chrome strip on the bumper to paint though
