the install is pretty straight forward. plug and play with the harness, but each bulb does require a 12V and ground on their own.
Even for the people that have claimed these lights are illegal and blind people BLAH BLAH, i have the pictures in a parking lot NEXT to another SUV, which you will CLEARLY see that the cutoff sits way lower than the vision of the driver. There is some glare, but the picture makes it seem worse than it is. Nobody has flashed me yet.
Sorry for the blurry pics (kinda hard to focus when its dark out) some pics I took without the fogs/headlights on. You should be able to distinguish whats on high/low beam from the brightness.
(like that fog light mod where I dont need the headlights/parking lights on and still uses the factory switch? )
These are H4 Hi/Low 8300K and 9006 6500K. Man what a difference and they are so worth it!
i converted my fogs on my 2000, got the hid kit off ebay
from an audi a6 with ballasts bulbs and projectors, for about 300...
its amazing the diference you get, but id never convert my headlights,
its too high and id probably get a lot of tickets... jersey cops,
but yea its awesome...
I like the fogs and the headlights look like they hit hard. But will the hid's on low blind the person coming at you? I would hate to restrick a person vision coming at you. They bright you thinking you got you highs on, you hit with the hid highs blinding them even more. Not good!

Or is it like that?
the pictures really "brighten" the effect, but when on low beam, they sit well below the eyes of other drivers... when i'm coming over a hill or from a distance, it might appear they are on high beam, but when you get closer to me, you can plainly tell they are not on full blast, you'll know when I have the high beams on if you were driving at me...
So far I have not yet been flashed from any oncoming traffic. But if and when that does happen, a little flicker of the high beam will surely let that person know I wasn't purposely blinding them with my high beam.
For the $300 I spent for them used, it was well worth the money and I can see the road 10 times better.
I just converted the low beams on my Supra to 4300k HIDs using a kit by 'Pilot' that I purchased on ebay. Quick, simple plug and play kit and the results are great. The total price was ~$180 shipped and money will spent. Very nice kit with all the harnesses (9006 plug instead of two spade plugs like most other kits) and the ballast/starter is in one box that is smaller than most other kits I've seen for easier time hiding for OEM look.
