1Gen-TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "How much is gas where you live?", within the 1Gen-Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Gas is 88 - 89 cents per litre in b.c (bc stands for bring cash !)
This summer it was 1.25 or more a liter !! , i guess there de-senitizing (sp?) us to accept higher gas prices.
These days even at 88 cents i feel like i'm going to get arrested when i leave the station .
Martin
In Toronto its about the same, .79/litre.
I'm sure there will be some sort of excuse for boosting it soon. I think Saudi has agreed to reduce output.

87 octane is around $2.45/gal. here in Spokane, Washington. I hear we're the highest in the Continental U.S.A. Nobody has a good answer why gas is still so expensive here.
In Iowa...
Was 1.96 a couple of weeks ago for 89 ethanol, now it's up to 2.06 or so.
It's actually 10 cents a gallon more expensive for the 87 octane as opposed to the 89 ethanol, must be an incentive to get you using it...

You're definitely "above average" (see image below). However, you're not the highest: check out Northern California... some locales are as high as $2.85.
Of course, the pump price is only one aspect of the cost of transportation and if you look at other factors Spokane is actually shown as being one of the top 10 least expensive places to operate a car: Pain at the Pump -- Which Cities Hurt the Most
