Anyone running a 18" Magnaflow muffler - Page 2

I love my 18" Magnaflow. It has a tight sound and has really mellowed out in the last week or so. Click the picture of the tip in my sig. to read about the install and click the blue text in my signature to hear it on youtube, but use your headphones or it will sound ricy.

I had magnaflow on my truck but swapped it out with flowmaster 40 series and like gorilla said flowmaster with k&n really does turn heads. Just my 2 cents.

I've been thinking about putting a louder muffler on my truck, but not sure to just switch the muffler or do a cat back.

I got the 18" Magnaflow and left the resonator on. I think it sounds great. Quiet as stock if not quieter at idle. Sounds noticably deeper fron 1-2k rpm. From about 3000rpm to redline, it really sounds mean. Absolutely no drone that I can hear over tire/road noise (keep in mind I'm on highway terrain tires, too). You can't hear it on the highway at all, which is good to me. I would recommend the 18" magnaflow to anyone wanting a nice, deep, mellow sound without the loud obnoxious Flowmaster drone/rasp.
