I've got an 06' Black DC with the factory installed Borla duel exhaust. I'm looking at the option of installing headers. I searched the archives and found out that the headers really didn't help too much, only top end horsepower..... some actually said it hurt your low end torque Is there anything that I could add to my truck to increase horsepower as well as making it sound better other than a supercharger. The truck is a lease but plan on keeping it or getting the same truck in 4WD so it would have to be a bolt on type of add-on. Thanks in advance

Thats not what the dyno curve on JBA's website shows. The JBA's dont provide much of an improvment on the VVTI engines.

True....but they won't cause a loss in power. Just not as much as in the older engines, so it may not be worth the money for some.

This has been discussed to death and yet no one listens..... The dyno curve on JBA's website is due to 'rollin' You simply can NOT jump to WOT on the VVTI engine because they all come with automatic transmissions and you go through shift points. You have to roll in the power to keep the engine in drive or risk a downshift which is impossible to dyno correctly. It is clear that the JBA's help with HP's over stock and it doesn't go away just because it can't be dyno'ed at low rpm's.
