Default Timing belt issue after replacement

I just had my timing belt replaced along with seals and idlers, Also had a Fuel system flush on my 2000 tundra V8 that now has 100k miles

After the timing belt and fuel system flush, i lost about 10 to 15 horsepower,
Any ideas why?
What is the concensus on this...has anyone else noticed a loss in power from either of these?
Im not sure if im running rich now and losing some power or if its a misaligned tooth

Also i really need to do spark plugs on my truck...Would that have anything to do with it?...
And does anyone know of any ignition system upgrades for the v8 tundra

i had the same thing done a couple months ago and it actually freed up some hp it felt like. you might be right in that they might be off a tooth. you'd feel the difference in performance.

I agree, if you you lost HP they probably mistimed the cams. Easy to do if you are lazy but no excuse if that is the case.

how is the engine running? low power? rough idle?
if they did something wrong, then it would be a cam that
is not timed properly, they left a vac hose off, or
they did not release the restriction on the fuel return.

can you feel a drop of 10 hp if it is running properly?
and always remember, fuel system flushing/cleaning is
a waste of money. just like fuel injection cleaning.
it is a rip in this business. yspert
