I noticed that my passenger seat was vibrating like mad. At first, I thought it was MY imagination. Then I watched it some more. I decided that I was going to take it to my dealer. Low and behold, there was a TSB for this!! They did both my front seats. I can not remember what exactly the problem was. I thought I would share this with you guys. I first noticed this when I was sitting in my backseat with the dog. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, thank God I am not the only one. When there is no one sitting in the passenger side seat, it squeaks like hell. I drove six hours yesterday and the squeaking drove me nuts. Unfortunately, my warranty expired about three weeks ago.
I'll call my local dealership and see if they could still fix it for me.

My Tundra passenger seat rattled like hell; it was much more than a squeak.

First time mine did it I thought one of the doors on that side was a-jar, when I pulled over to the side to check I thought " just as well" because the door light on the dash was out. Got the TSB number from here so when it goes in for the balljoints they can take care of the seat too, and whatever else was halfassed at toyota.
The price we pay for having this thing assembled in the US.
Exactally my thoughts. Just wait for all the recalls and TSB's on the new 07 Tundra! They couln't give me one of those ugly a$$ cheap built trucks.
Toyota has gotten VERY sloppy the last few years. It's embarrasing already.

Bed cover, TRD 3rd brake light cover, custom viper alarm, Gold plated emblems. CPS Westin Bull bar, Westin Driving lights, polished Elliptical bumper grill.
Still to come: custom dash kit, JBA headers, exhaust, and eventually custom paint. And whatever else looks appealing!
IMO.....removing those pins underneath the seats isn't goint to correct the vibrations.....just eliminate some noise inside the cab. It would be nice to see something addressed other than the usual "your tires and/ or wheels are outta whack" regarding the vibrating seat.

You guys can complain etc., but I WILL take my Toyota over any other truck. Keep in mind that it may seem like you are seeing a lot of complaints etc., but in the scheme of things, it isn't much.
My Toyota has NEVER stranded me!! My brand new Ford did; twice! And once was in the dead of a particularly nasty New England winter!
You guys think you have it bad with your Tundra? Go buy a Chevy or a Dodge, and then tell me how bad it was with your Toyota.

Cool!!!! If that worked for you I ought to be able to do the same thing at home pretty easily.....I just can't see why taking those pins off would help....maybe making the seat fit less tightly (for lack of a better word) to the main body gets rid of the vibes......hmmmmmmmm.....
The only part that I'm not sure about doing it at home is the
"Initialize front passenger occupant classification system and re-initialize any other power systems.
Refer to TSB No. PD008-05, “Power System Initialization During PDS.
Refer to TSB No. PD014-06, “Power System Initialization During PDS.” part at the end of it.....sounds like if you do this wrong your air bags caould mal-function.

My drivers seat Captains Chair make loud sqeaking noises when cornering and going over bumps at the same time but even me being a large fellow it should not do this and i have also watched the drivers seat vibrate since new but did not know it was covered with a TSB!! Is the drivers seat covered for squeaking under a TSB??
