Default Thank you TS!

A couple of weeks ago my check engine light came on. I checked the code and it was P0155 02 sensor bank 2 sensor 1. I did a google search and noticed a ton of threads on TS. So I joined TS and found tons of info. I was able to take the info from TS and get 2 02 sensors replaced for free at my dealership. Thank you all for the 02 sensor info and recommendations. You all rock!

Awesome!!! Lucky you, my dealership will always try to charge for everthing. When the extended warranty came out for the replacemnet of the O2 sensors they tryed to tell me that it covered the O2 sensor only not if they stripped the manifold. Well I called my dad who faxed over the letter stating all work was to be done free. I showed that to the service manager and he nearly s**t himself. Then he tryed to pass the ODBII reading cost on me, $90, he said that thay had to charge me that to know if it was really the O2 sensor. I told him if I pay I would call the CC and claim a fraudlent charge and that I had proof that ALL work was to be done for free. I laughed when he told me that I was ripping them off.

There's nothing like going into the dealership with the information in hand. Well worth the price of subscription.

How do you get the codes? Do they come up on the dash display?

hi, no, you need to go to auto zone, or buy yourself a scanguage2 3.15, or something similar. many shop's will do it for you, if you know them. it is so simple the obd2 port is right under the dash , under the key hole. you will see a port that has prong's. it look's like something should be connected to it.
buy a scan guage 2. it is a great cheap devise that will tell you alot of stuff, including Horse power of your engine.
