Hi How Goes It? I just recently got a 2000 Tundra Limited Access Cab. Im just starting to make it my own, This looks like a great site for some good know how on what to do.
Ive been looking for some good prerunner bumpers, as well as as a grille that would be somewhat easy to get a hold of.
And i recently took off some decals and wanted to take of the molding but to my suprise it hides holes. Can anyone help with a filler idea or just finding a more factory looking molding for tundras.

Hi, I was just scrolling through google when i came across this site so i decided to stop on by and sign up. I'm 18 and just inherited my dad's 2005 Toyota Tundra 4.7L V8 Limited 4X4 Double Cab. It's my first real vehicle that i can truely call mine. Really all I want to do is spruce up it's performance a bit before moving onto cosmetics. It's got aftermarket running boards and a set of Michelin 255/55/17. (We get nasty winters here, and the stock tires were awful.) Recently had the driver side door replaced as it got crunched due to said winter by some punk in his little ricer (No offense if you own a ricer). It was a hard hit, but Toyota's are tough and the only thing crunched was the driver door...oh, and the running board. The fender and rear left passenger were untouched. Now it looks brand new and i expect to have this truck for the few decades at least.

Hi all -
New guy here. I've got a silver '04 Tundra V8 4wd that I bought new 5 years ago. I only have about 30k miles on it but I've had no problems at all. I did get a recall notice for balljoints but haven't taken it in yet (long distance to dealer).
Anyone know where I can get some plain 17" steel wheels for this thing? Do you think the steel wheels like the spare would be ok? I'd like to take my alloy wheels off to refinish them (corrosion bubbles) and figured I'd just use steelies for the winter.

Great forum so far. I bought a 2006 2WD double cab from my 92 year old grandmother (that's right, she bought it new and drove it up until a couple years ago)!
28k miles on it now so it has a lot of life left in it. Wish it were 4x4 for an upcoming elk hunt but no problem, i'll ride in my brother's 2005 4x4 Tundra if the rodes get nastly.
I've been scouring this forum for the best leveling solution for the least amount of money. So far it sounds like the Bilstein 5100's are the way to go.
OEM tires need replacing so I'm headed to Discount Tire to see about getting 265/75 R16's (Michelin has $70 rebate right now).
Thanks for all of the posts. This site has been very helpful.

Hello, all... Matt Peterson out of Southern California, owner of a 2002 Tundra 2WD SR5, dark blue in color, nick-named "Pandora." Until recently, a mere commuter vehicle, but now trying to transform into an off-road trail exploring vehicle. I've got a 2.5/1 from Fat Bob's Garage and am sporting BFG 285/75/16's underneath. Yes, I'm experiencing some rubbing on the UCA and the frame at hard turns and I'm looking for solutions on this site. (You can see my post entitled "Trying to accomodate larger tires... options?" posted 07-28-09.)
Other than O2 sensor issues that were under warranty, I've never had problems with my Tundra. The tiimes I have had the need to take her in for service, Toyota of Redlands Service Department has never done me wrong and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
I look forward to gleaning as much information on this site from experienced members as I can, and perhaps I might lend my two-cents-worth from time to time.

Hello,
My name's Ben, bought an '06 DC 4wd recently as a replacement for my '99 Tacoma Xtracab that is en route to the crusher after being bought back under the frame rust recall. Definitely a bittersweet moment signing the Taco over to Toyota, but $11k for a truck I paid $14k for 7 years ago isn't that bad.
Came here to get the skinny on what to do with the new Tundra, it's bone stock right now with the exception of a cap and it's driving me nuts. Had Downey coliovers, AAL, TJM front bumper, 33x10.5 BFG A/T's and an upgraded stereo in the Tacoma and would like to eventually get there with the Tundra.

Hello all. I've got an '03 V-8 SR-5, I bought the truck brand new, and I love messing with it now that the warranty is expired. I've got a custom dual (not true-dual) exhaust, K&N intake, throttle body spacer, and a scangauge2. I'm looking for more power without breaking the bank

Hello everyone,
Greetings from Northern California (Sacramento) I just bought a 06 Tundra 2 weeks ago and loving it. Its a Darrell Waltrip Edition that comes with some TRD mods, a bit flashy for my taste with all the badging (pin strip and stickers) but I have grown to like it. I have the bed spray lined with Rhino and also waiting on some Raptors step bars.

Drain and replace eng oil, trans fluid, rear diff, and transfer case with a quality full synthetics. You COULD also over-inflate your tires a few pounds for the trip on I64 but you'll wear them out quicker that way. When you wear them out, you can pick up a set of narrower highway tires but it wouldn't look as cool. You could also lower it (not sure if its possible to do on a 4x4) and cut down on the air flow under the truck.
BTW, I'm a newbie here also. Just got my truck a week ago.
