Hi, I'm Boz and I just got a black '06 Tundra double cab last month after driving Honda Accords for 18 years. First Toyota in my family ever. Hondas are good, but wow, what an incredible truck. It was worth waiting 18 years for!!!

I'm not actually new to the forum but lost all my old info when we moved with different e-mails and such. I have a 2000 Tundra that I love to drive and has been my FIFTH Toyota in the last seven years. Out of all of the Toyota's that I've owned, the Tundra has been the most disappointing. From steering wheel vibrations upon delivery, tire and wheel problems, to the rear axle that I'm having replaced today as I type. I love the truck but has been a mini-lemon. It has less than 60K on it, has never seen anything but highway miles, and sits in my garage more than it does the higway.
I will see how the repairs go this weekend but this may be my last Tundra for awhile.
I look froward to seeing if others have had as many frustrating problems with their Tundra, as I've had with mine? Hopefully not!

Howzit, just became a subscriber to TS, but have been reading a lot of forums and getting a lot of good info from them ever since I picked up my 2004 AC 4wd Tundra in 2004. Now that I have only a couple mods left to do, I figured it was a good time to sign up, because there is a wealth of info to be shared among us. I just installed the RCD 6" and 35" Nitto Mud Grapplers the other day. I'm so new I haven't even had a chance to take any pics even for my avatar. Anyways, I'll be updating all that this weekend. Just wanted to say wassup. G

Good Day fellow Toyota Owners :-)
I just found this site and am happy about it. I have a 2005 Tundra Access Cab with matching camper shell. I wanted a truck made in America that would last me at least 15 years, so, I bought a Toyota. See you in the forums...

Hey fellas, what's up? Love the website, very cool! I have 2 4x4 Tundra's. The first is a 2000 that I purchaced new in late 1999, and the second is my wifes ride, 2006 quad cab. Both have the 4.7L V8. What can I say but truley awesome trucks. The 2000 has been to hell and back twice, has 120,000 miles on it, and still runs and drives like it did the day I got it. I have made a few changes however, to enhance the experiance. 5 inches of lift, with 33" tires, custom paint job complete with chamelion ghost flames on the hood and fenders, tinted windows, dual exhaust, with stage 2 flowmaster, and more on the way. Have future plans as well for the 06. Here are a few pics of the 2000, don't have any of the 06 yet, but is steele blue, 4 door SR5

Hi Tundra gang!
My husband and I are the proud owners of a pretty black, double cab, Tundra limited 2x4....had to have a truck with the limited slip differential and power seat...lucked up and the only one the dealer could get had sunroof and leather (heated seats, too!)...we bought it to tow a travel trailer with the kids and dogs...working on finding a good fiberglass cab cover and thinking of putting the bedrug in it for the dogs....
We've always had Toyota's never had a problem....
