Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Tundra Owners Introduce Yourself Here
Love my 04' Toyota Tundra, wish it had more power but... what can you expect for a full-size V6? Anyway, I've experienced some oil consumption, usually half a qt every 3k miles. Noticed this with my Camry as well so I wonder if it's the oil I've been using (Texaco/Havoline) or is this common with Toyota's?

I too just put a 3" toytech lift on a 2006 D-cab. I also ordered 33x12.50R17 Procomp A/T on 17x9 American racing chambers. I can't wait till they come in.

First time member, second time Tundra owner.
I read through some of the threads, which is what prompted my membership. I am really excited about learning/implementing some performance upgrades and perhaps some day being able to return the favor.
My first was a 2003 Black Stepside LTD.
My second is 2006 Phantom Gray DC LTD.
Both with a similar setups. (All weather guard, V8 towing, Leather trim, JBL with changer, Rear seat audio, Overhead console, Bedliner, Running boards. Access LTD Soft Toneau). Only diff are the running boards (my stepside had black tube steel and obviously no rear audio).
First item on the agenda: Replace the current exhaust with a dual system and go from there.

Hey, out there. Picked up a 2004 Tundra SR5 Access Cab, 4WD, V6 on this past Tuesday. Still has the stock tires, has the running boards and an aftermarket bedliner. Dont know how long the sneakers and bedliner will stay,
but seems like a great truck.. Recovering 99 F150 and 88 Bronco owner.
Hope this one's the keeper, and it's paid for...

Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Tundra Owners Introduce Yourself He
Hello everyone, I just purchased an ’06 Tundra Doublecab in Timberland Mica last Tuesday. I would have never considered the Tundra until my wife bought a new ’04 Highlander. I absolutely love that car and was so impressed with it I decided to purchase the Tundra for my next pick-up. I absolutely love the feel and the ride – smooth. Now I am a 2x Toyota owner.
I just joined tundrasolutions because every time I googled something for my new truck the first few links were TS forum topics. I noticed that they had so much great information about my truck that I felt I had to become a member. Thanks for all the priceless information and keep up the good work!

Hey there love the forum,
Just bought a 04' phantom grey tundra DC w/ tow package, tonnou cover, and I love it! I was driving an 05 ford f-150 supercrew for work but i got to take it home and it had 30,ooo miles on it it had an engine tick, shifted badly (not smooth) So I decided toyota was the way to go.I want to get a ladder rack that works with the soft tonnou cover....any help would be much apreciated.
