Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Tundra Owners Introduce Yourself Here
I have been looking at new pick up(s) and planning to buy a GMC Canyon in about 6 months. As part of my market research, I stopped in at my local Toyota dealer, Willson Motors in Bellingham, WA, and asked what kind of deals he had on Tacomas. He told me that he could sell me a Tundra for less than the Tacoma. Once I saw the special offer, I moved my buying plans up and took home the Tundra. I'm 63 an have been buying cars since I was 15. This was the easiest and most satisfing vehicle buying experiance in all ythose years. And.... I simply love the truck!
Now I'm here to look into the very few mods I want to make.

New to this site. Trading in a 2003 Tundra access cab. Getting a new 2006 double cab Tundra in a couple weeks. Want to put a camper shell on it. Been looking at SnugTop HiLiner which has a little more height, 3 to 4 inches, above the cab height. Anyone installed this or similar model of another brand? Want to use a boot between the shell and the back window but some say they leak. Anybody have a recommendation? Looking forward to being a part of this forum!!

Hey all...Big fan of what this site is all about. I have an 01 Ivan Stewart that I just LOVE. I am a first time poster to site. My Tundra is black and I have added the following to it...Recaro seats in a two tone black/gray with heater and fan, Skid plate, and K&N filter kit this last week. I noticed that there was a posting and photo regarding the wheels on the IS Tundra that are pitting and peeling. This happened to my wheels, and had them replaced with me paying 1/2 with my local dealership. The second set did the same. I have an appointment on Monday to have them redone. A guy has a mobile van that can repair on sight. This problem is because of the clearcoating. I will keep you posted when the work is complete.D.

I dont know If this is the right place to post this. I have major problems. I have a 97 Limited 4 runner. I've been pulling a 16' 2000# with an additional weight between 500-1500 #. I am hearing a winding noise either coming from tranny or rear(dont know) what do you think would mess up first. I have been pulling over 6 months @ 3 timse a week.
I going to buy me either 03 or 04 doublecab. What would you suggest in TRD, RR lock,4x4 row what what would be best for me to pull. If I had to get an 03 model what trim(chaisis) should I get. And if 04 I want double cab. What options should i look for in this deal.
If you can tell me what you think has happened to my 4 runner. I smelled a burning oil or electrical smell after hauling a 3 Yards or topsoil 3000#

Hello, new member here. My brother just traded his Tacoma in for an 04 Tundra and called me to see what we can do to spice it up. My ride: 02 Ford Mustang Coupe, Satin Silver
Performance mods: Motive 4.10's, K&N FIPK, March Underdrive Pullies, Steeda Tri-Ax Short Shifter, Steeda Sport Springs, Granatelli Adjustable Upper Control Arms and Weight Jacker Lower Control Arms, Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials, DiabloSport Predator Tuner, Mac 2.5" Cat-Back and O/R H-Pipe
BEST ET: 8.904 at 80.78 MPH in the 1/8th on street radials 3/5/06
I have a DW 06 Silver Tundra. So far so cool. BTW a few have asked about the NASCAR Tundra tie in...Waltrip has the winning Team Tundra in the Truck Series. Getting Line X soon. I will post pix in the future.

Hello,
I just found this site. I have an 03 SR5 AC 2wd, standard trans. Bought to kick around and use for lumber for woodworking. I then bought a camper and thought I would need a new truck to tow, untill I installed a TRD supercharger and TRD clutch. No problem now i never slow down on the hills anymore. Just had cruise control installed today works great

Just joined the group yesterday. I've got the '03 Tundra standard cab, extended bed, V6, 5 speed (gold). Never any problems with the truck, very satisfied with it. Truck has low miles because it hasn't been a primary vehicle. Now It's my only ride so it will get more use. Decided to look on line for vehicle info...

Hello all,
I've been a member for some time but this is my first post. I just traded off a 1995 Camry with 124,000 miles for a 2006 Tundra SR5 Double CabTRD in Natural White. I also have a 2000 Tundra SR5 AC that my son now drives and my wife has a 2000 RAV4. This is my fifth Toyota vehicle and they just seem to get better.

Hello TS members.
I'd made the decision to purchase the Tundra DC 4x2 after browsing TS, now I'm a proud new Tundra DC owner and loving it.
06 white Tundra DC, 17" alloy., remote keyless entry, LSD, JBL 3-in-1 stereo.
Looking for some OEM upgrade such as alarm system, fog lamps, sidestep bars and bed covers.
Any help or advise for new owner is much appreciated.
Andrew
