Hello to all. I just purchased my 5th Toyota which is a 06' Double Cab. I have installed the K&N 63 series air charger kit and the TRD exhaust. I am very pleased with the silence at idle, and the sweet note it produces at full accelleration. Thank's Dustin for turning me on to this site!

Hello Everyone,
I am from a Toyota family. We have 9 toyotas in the family as of this time. My son and I just wrecked my my 2002 Tacoma 4X4, we rolled it twice at 45 mph and the roof stayed off of us, alittle sore and stiff but were ok.
One of my Sons has a Tundra 03 4X4 with supercharger 4.7 L. I liked his truck so well I have decided to replace my Tacoma with a Tundra that is how I found this sight.
The questions I have, I have not been able to find the answers to. Not only from this sight or anywhere at this time, because Toyota is not putting out any info at this time. My questions are pertaining to the new 5.7 L. Great sight, and I am looking forward to being a member here.
Just a quick intro. Live North of Boston. 1 year owner of 2000 FJZ 100, bought from private owner to replace my 1988 Range Rover; hence the screen name. Don't shoot me for it. The Rangie was a great truck, not cheap to run, but classy & definately stood out in the crowd. Ran a 1973 Series 3 88" land Rover before that for 5 years. Currently have the 2000 FJ, '02 Volvo V70, '95 850 Turbo & '68 Triumph TR250 in my stable. Ok, so I like the British iron!
Anyway, by far this cruiser is one of the nicest vehicles I've owned. Don't get a chance to do much off roading, but do put it to good use towing my 22' Grady White & hauling 5-6 kids & 2 big Labs around.
Quiet, comfortable, powerful & dependable. Now I need to do some minor mods to make it stand out from the rest.

Newbie to Tundra Solutions, but from what I have seen thus far, a great resource. Posting this note so my "reminder" to post will finally go away Recently acquired a "new" 2005 Tundra and already have the wife concerned on all the available modifications ($$$)that are being discussed here. Appreciate all the knowledge this group shares.

Hey all! Just bought an 06 Tundra DC last weekend from Laurel Toyota (Carmax) in Maryland. Adding a Westin Bull Bar this weekend and in the process of putting Line-X in the bed and an ARE Lo Pro cover. Have to say that this is a major improvment over the Mercury Mountaineer that I traded in and nice to be back to Toyota. My very first Toyota was a new 1977 Corolla with a 1200cc engine and a hand choke!
Already read some truly great posts and gotten some good advice! TS is quite a site.
Habe a feeling my wife is going to be unhappy about the Tundra as there are so many cool mods and accessories. She was just getting used to all the mods on our Wrangler!

Thnx for the welcome.
Longtime Lex/ Toy owner. Stepped up from SuperCharged 03 Taco to 05 Dbl Cab Tundra.
Sweet ride.
Always looking for good source of tech data and willing to share what I've learned. I do all of my own mods and installs. Currently researching wiring diagrams for the stereo install.

Hi, thanks for the welcome. I'm ready to tackle brakes and rarely have had problems with my Toyotas and defend my trucks to all my redneck ford and chevy owners( I usually have to pick them up at the repair shop on the way to work)
Thanks again, Bigaxe

OK, just bought my first Toyota truck, based mainly on good word of mouth about reliability, longevity, etc. It's a 2003 extended cab, 4x4 TRD edition. Still has about 4 months on the original factory warranty. Mileage is 23, 875. Looks very clean.
My question is, are there any TSB's I should be aware of specific to this model that I should address before the warranty goes away?
