Had mine for what will be a year this Saturday. Has about 11,700 miles and only mods are a tonneau cover, Silverstar lights, and a custom 3 inch exhaust with Flowmaster Super 40

Greetings y'all!
Just found this forum and it looks great.
The OL & I just bought an '06 4x4, white, doublecab, SR5, 4.7L Tundra.
The power sunroof & power sliding rear window are da bomb.
Not to mention the 6 speaker JBL system and that it tracks like it's on rails on the highway and that it also has a high head turning quotient.
Have yet to take it on the beach and haul/tow some stuff but that time will come soon.
Thanks,
Cliff K

Hi Everyone,
My name is Joe. I have a 2003 SR5 4x4 TRD. I bought this truck back in 2003 from a salvage auction. It was a roll over and it only had 2300 miles.
From a junk yard I got a roof, 4 doors and a back glass. After about a month the truck was back on the road. It now has 63K miles and runs great. Best truck I ever had.
I love the forum. Great job.
Joe

hi crew-been lurking for a while. Love the site! Just bought a 2006 AC stepside w/ trd sport pkg. Ships from FL next week should have it may 15. Plan to do SOS 1.5/3 drop and y-pipe for some v8 rumble. may do muffler change if necessary(like hooker maxflow).
For stereo upgrade I've been looking at orion maxxbass module with 2prs of polk db6500 with factory hu feeding 75-100wpc amp(s).
Later,
Noproblem-mon.

Hello everyone,

It is nice to be able to talk with other people who know a quality truck when they see one. I used to own a 2001 Tundra Regular cab but an accident took care of that. I have ordered and in two weeks will receive my new 2006 D-Cab XSP with the 20's. I cannot wait.

Peace to you all,
G-Man

Hey...

I am new to this forum & I have been reading about the different mods... A standard response is "All the usual Mods". I am wondering... what are all of the usual mods?
I have a 2004 Tundra Double Cab 4.7 V8. What are the usual mods & what mods are available?
The only thing I have done is started using AMS SAE 5W-30 XL Synthetic Motor Oil & a K&N drop it filter. I have hit the 60K mark & I was looking for advice on Spark Plugs also....

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
.sp

My first new Toyo, 2006 DC XSP, white over grey.
Already used this forum for info in replacing my factory HU.
Makes DIY so much easier when someone else has done it before you...

Hi, I'm interested in adding daytime running lights (DRL), and I'd like the doors to lock automatically when the transmission is engaged. I have an '06 Tundra DC 4WD Phantom Gray Pearl Limited. Thanks for the venue.

Hi,

A newbie here at the forum. I have a 2003 Tundra access cab with 53k miles on it. I found this link through Tundra FAQ looking for a solution on how to reset the computer after changing my air filter with K&N. Now I'm looking to install an after market fog/driving lights to my tundra and hoping to get some good advice on what model/make lights to buy. Great forum.

Regards,
Rbman60

HI. 05 tundra double cab bought in july 05. first new purchase for twenty five years and was my retirement present to myself. The dealer gave me a loner for the weekend to see if I would like it and my wife and daughter put 375 miles on it in two days. My wife was so impressed with the tundra that on monday she went to the dealer with me to pick up the new turdra and purchased a 4runner. The turdra is a bit much for what i use it for and am thinking of a tacoma but don't want to give up the v8 power.

Question Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Tundra Owners Introduce Yourself Here

Just bought a used 2000 Tundra Limited 4x4 with 82000 miles on it. The only problem it makes a clicking type noise when turning at low speeds mainly and when stopped and turning wheel back and forth (intermittent). Anyone have a similar problem. Not sure if I should post this question here, I may also post something on the main board. Thanks in advance for any information anyone may have on this subject.
