What's up everyone. I've got an '04 SR5 Tundra Quad Cab. I've put aftermarket HID lights in it I got off of ebay. There really cool and look great but I've started having problems with them flickering on and off and after a while, they just go out. I cut the truck off for a while and crank back up and the work fine for a while and do it all over again. Started out with just one doing it but know both do and the other night going down the road both just went out. Thank goodness for my fog lights! Anybody else tried HID's in their Tundra and had problems? Any info would be helpful, and glad to be a new member! Thanks

Hi everyone
I'm kind of new here. Just got my tundra a couple days ago. Well, it's a 04 double cabs Texas Edition with 48k miles. Been driven it around town and freeway, I'd say pretty damn comfortable, smooth, quiet and gas-guzzling. What's happening? I mean it said 16/20 on the sticker, I got like 11 miles to a gallon. Certainly not what I've expected.
Aloha everyone! I just got myself a 2006 SR5 Double Cab 4x4 in Spectra Blue and found my way to this site while I was surfing for Tundra information. I hope to learn a lot from all of you about the big blue guy parked out in the driveway!

Greetings from TX. I have been a reader of this site since I bought my `02 Tundra in 2003. I have always found lots of good advice and experiences here, so I figured I'd join.
My Tundra has given me 76K virtually trouble-free miles. Other than a bad O2 sensor that siezed itself into the exhaust (covered under warranty), I have only had to replace the usual suspects that wear over time. (Shock, brake pads, tires, etc..)
I would love a new Tundra, but as this one is paid off and shows no signs of needing replacing, I'm going to stick with my current ride.

I recently purchased my first Toyota. When looking for a replacement for my old Ford (I have always been a Ford guy) I happen to come accross a Tundra and reluctantly took it for a test drive. That first drive sold me. So I began looking for a Tundra. I loved the new ones however I drove an 06 DC 2wd and couldn't bring myself to shell out the additional 15 to 20k for a new one, when the 05, 06 models are what sold me in the first place. I don't do much heavy towing anymore so this truck fits just right. I have never been more happier with a vehicle purchase. My new (used) truck is an silver 06 DC, 4.7, 2wd with TRD suspension and exhaust, 27k on it when I bought it. I got to this forum looking for the recommended service intervals as the manual references another document for the intervals. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

What's Up!
I am beyond stoked that I just purchased my Tundra, yet alone my first Toyota! In a way this is my current dream truck. It's a 2005 Tundra Access Cab with the TRD 4X4. I can't wait to take it out to Glamis to see what it can do.
