I just joined this site. I've got an '05 phantom gray tundra and found you all searching for ways to direct-connect my sirius to the stock stereo. Thanks to all the great posts here , I have a $25 solution on the way - a USA-SPEC DF-TOY that I found used on craigslist. The posts here are giving all kinds of other great ideas to spend money that I dont have on things I dont need, but look cool!

Many thanks!!!

Hello Everyone,

I just purchased my 2002 Tundra 4X2 access cab with 68000 miles on it. This is my first Tundra but not my first Toyota. I will be upgrading the truck soon so I hope I can get some ideals or help from you all.

Bob

I've wanted a Tundra for four years! Finally, I got a "new to me" 2005 Tundra SR5 Double Cab in Natural White with 60k miles. It has the "liquicell" leather on it (which I didn't care for leather, but it's nice) and otherwise is just a plain DC. It is Toyota Certified and has the Platinum comprehensive warranty for the next 4 years/40k miles.

No pics yet, but I am looking for info on mods and add ons. The Honda site (please, don't throw anything at me) I have been a part of with my other cars helps a lot. I'm guessing this one is every bit as good. Looking forward to many years of Tundra-bilty.

If any of you have info on getting owner's manuals, best side-steps/nerf bars, bed-liner/bed mat, radio upgrades, mods (i.e. upper console to compass/temp), replacement interior trim pieces, and more. let me know.

Merry Christmas.

Howdy. This is my first time here. We bought an 06 Tundra SR5 TRD 4x4 three days ago to get us to and upon our place near Las Vegas NM, which is accessible only by 4x4 anyway. My wife and I are wild about the Tundra. I am looking forward to being here.

Any advice on new camper shells?

Hello to all;

I am impressed with this websight, and its content ultimately led me to purchasing a 1st gen Tundra. Traded in my faithfull 1993 toyota pickup. LOVED the 22re!

Thus far, I am very impressed with the truck. Simple, 2000 longbed single cab V6. This will be my work/communte truck.

Currently removing and installing the cat. Taking pics which I will post when I am finished, for any interested; I've seen a few questions on this subject. I've been a mechanic for most of my life (both on the surface and underwater), and hope I can help some of the lads, who, like myself in my younger days, relied heavily on my ability to keep my own vehicle running (have to get to work somehow).

Keep up the good work!

2006 Tundra Texas Edition Crew Cab: 12/14/08
Toyo 20" tires are cupping on inside and causing noise.
Tire rotation was done at 5000 mi intervals by Toyota.
Non-aggressive driver and pressures maintained.
Toyota checked for allignment and balanced tires. No issues there.
Currently working with dealer to resolve problem.
Dealer claims it's a tire problem but I believe it is a suspension issue.
Comments?

Bryan

Howdy Yall! I've had my Tundra for 2 years now and Im very pleased with its performance. Its an '03 SR5 Access Cab. I plan on adding a Borla exhaust system within the next month or so, and from there a cold air intake.

Thanks much, Very good site you guys have. Long time Toyota truck owner. Had a 83,91, and 6 months ago bought my uncles 01 Tundra w/ 43000 on the clock. So far I have put 17" Raceline wheels w/Pirelli Scorpion tires, Borla exhaust, Lorider Tonneau bed cover, billet grill. I also opened up my airbox with my homemade ram air.

I would like some some suggestions on raising the front of it, just to level it out a bit, seems to me the nose is 2" or 3" lower than the rear.
Thanks again for all the available info...

I love my Borla exhaust, but my MPGs are down, cuz I love the sound
