Default Torque Management?

Does anyone know if there is built in torque management in the tundra's computer system. I have an 03 Tundra TRD 2WD 4.7 . When I punch it off the line it'll pop right up , then flatten out instantly, I would think the tires would light up or it should pull alot harder , I've got the 3.91 gears and stock size tires. I know the chevys do and you can have the torque management taken out , was wondering if we could do the same thing with the toyotas.

I don't think it uses it. Low end torque tends to be a little soft on the 4.7 anyway, not sure they need to "manage" it.

It's probably just switching to open loop operation at full pedal. Try 3/4 pedal and see what happens. You'll need some airflow mods to get the most benefit from open loop operation, plus a chip. Read over some of the very, very old threads in the engine and drivetrain section, you'll see what I'm talking about regarding throttle position and open vs closed loop operation.
