Also a question about the A-B switch: Is it switched by plugging into alternate connectors, or is there an actual switch somewhere near the unit? Either way, you would have to go behind the glove box to get at it, right? I'm hoping to find $800 laying around somewhere before Friday!

I'm not sure if we ever got a final octane answer from Jack or not? Regarding the A/B switch, I'm 95% certain it's an actual switch on the Unichip box itself. So, yes, if the box mounts behind the glove box (see pointer to Matrix installation guide in the Unichip thread) then you'd have to access it by removing in the glove box I imagine.
Come on Dude Boy...I'm rootin' for ya' man! Daddy's gots to have more power!
Seee-ya,
Jim.
