If you do this, I believe the extra plugs on the harness will come taped up. When you purchase the s/c, send your unichip back to Jack, and he'll re-map it for a s/c'd application for free. (As part of the group buy, everyone gets one free re-map for add on mods) When you get your new re-mapped unichip back, cut the tape around the extra plugs on the harness and install them. You should be ready to go.
I think the general concensus is that it's better to go with the pre-mapped units from unichip rather than a custom tune. The units are mapped with the safety of the engine in mind, plus they are ready to be installed as soon as you get your new chip. If you find a good tuner down the road, you can always have it customed tuned. IT's really hit or miss on how good the local tuners are.
I'd just go for it...no sense in missing out on a good deal. Hope this helps.
