We can only speculate at this point, but given that, here is possible scenario. First off, in closed loop mode (under 85% throttle position) it will be tuned for economy and efficiency...but so is the vehicle already (supposedly). They shoot for a 14.7-1 mixture just like your stock truck would, except with the chip it will do a better job of maintaining. Timing will be able to be dialed in better as well, so there will be some gains in mileage. Likely less then 2mpg difference but again we will have to see. It will run better, smell better (less unburned fuel) and hesitations will smooth out. Also it will depend on the condition and how close to nomimal your engine and fuel injection parts are.
