I'm with you and will do the install myself. When I have had smog tests done in the past, the engine inspection has been cursory at best. I really doubt that the headers will even be noticed. I can't imagine that the emissions would be adversely affected as long as the required sensors are in place. My SC should be here this week and I don't want it wheezing.
