Just wanted to greet the forum. We bought our Marlin Blue Sequoia SR5 on Dec 31, 2003....Toyota of Santa Barbara (great!). It's named Marlin (of course) and we find ourselves overpersonifying the thing way too much....In parking lots we look for the furthest spot away from the dingers and my kids say "Oh Marlin wants to park there"...If we can't find a good spot we look for another Toyota Tundra or Sequoia (the kids think the cars must talk while we shop). I know tooo Weird!!!

We had looked all over the state for a Salsa Red one but couldn't find out. But now we're hooked on the Blue. Great two tone taupe/blue comb. It has all the trimmings possible for the SR5 except no 4 x 4. The moonroof is awesome.

No problems so far (4000 miles). Have noticed it revs sort of high sometimes as I idle at a light, but someone told me that it's the V8, since I haven't had a V8 before. I was glad to leave that ford Windstar behind. Now I'm COOL!

What's the best place to order the hood guard from? Any discount suppliers that are well respected? Thanks for help!

BTW, my sister has the 2003 Sequoia Sr5 too, named Sherman (get it?).
