easy to check, just bounce each side of the truck. the good side shouldnt bounce, the bad side will.

the trd shocks & springs that come with the truck (unless you have an IS edition) are fairly soft, they provide a very comfortable car-like ride and flex well offroad, though the stock setup doesnt have much uptravel. wheeler's coils are stiffer, great if you have a brush guard, winch bumper, or brush guard/winch combo.
