deja vu-- last month we also ditched the Windstar for a Marlin Blue sr5 Seq. with moonroof, alloy whl pkg #2, JBL stereo upgrade and a few more optional equipment items. Didn't really realize how big the Sequoia was until we got it in the garage. It dwarfs my 98 Explorer. The Sequoia is my wife's daily driver and our vacation rig. We've had no initial bugs to work out. My only complaint is that I wish the cloth upholstery was a little more plush and I'm concerned about the potential of wearing out or breaking the fold down armrests on the front seats--anyone had any problem there??
This and the Tundra forum are great! People are so upbeat and the number of problems seem so small. Contrast it to the ford truck enthusiast site, which is also a godsend when trouble shooting, but then there seems like there are so many more troubles to shoot. Just yesterday, I tried to rent a U-haul trailer and they refused because I was driving the explorer. I see a Taco or a Tundra in my future! In my college days I owned a 76 Celica GT and also a 76 Carolla. I wonder if they're still running. Its great to be here!
