I have been lurking this forum for a while with the plan of purchasing a Tundra DC. Well, my situation changed as my wifes 2002 Jeep Cherokee lease rapidly deteriorated. We (she) was way over on the mileage, out of warranty, and the transmission started slipping! So we decided to cut our losses, get out, and jump into "Tundra with a 3rd row of seats." Fortunately, my wife has wanted a Sequoia for a couple of years.
So, Friday we bought a 2004 Sequoia Limited. I wanted silver. She wanted black. We got black. The options that we desired are:
CD changer
Side airbags
Rear spoiler
DVD pre-wire
Carpet mat set
Sunroof deflector
The options that we got "extra":
Side mirror signal upgrade
Running lights
Window tint
Skid plate
Overall, the deal was quite painless as I followed the
fightingchance.com method. My negotiated price was $218 above invoice minus $500 military discount and $1250 4th July factory discount. $39,805.
I have never owned a vehicle this fine.
Purchased a lifetime TS membership to go with it. You have been a great help in making this an informed decision.
Next, will be an extended service contract from Troy.
