I've never actually done it myself, but I know there are shops that chrome and re-chrome automotive parts. People with antique autos often have to have parts rechromed (emblems, trim, bumpers, etc.) to look like new, so theres probably someone out there that could do it for you.

If you're really interested, you might consider checking with some of the local body or auto restoration shops in your area. They would probably know where you can get it done.
