Whoever told you that should NOT be giving out advise! Get in your truck, and quickly drive the other direction.

The only thing close could be the 2000 RPM drone....it wouldn't be felt at 1500 RPM in this engine, and your exhauast would have to be modified and have the resinator removed to feel it at 2000 RPM.
