Picked up my 05 SR5 4WD
last week to replace an 03 that was totaled (no injuries). The 05 is slightly quicker off the line and the 4WD system has been updated (all push button). Other minor improvements but nothing tremendous. Ride is still truck-like but acceptable for this type of vehicle. Dunlop tires are inferior and should be Michelin. Of note, the window sticker states that this model with the leather seat option group is supposed to have heated seats but it didn't. Probably a mistake by Toyota but they will have to make good on it.
What is the purpose of raising a vehicle like this? The suspension geometry is designed for a certain height/weight combination and raising it will create a higher center of gravity which will increase your roll-over risk.
