There's always a roll-over risk attributed to any vehicle that has a high center of gravity. Stock or not. Lifting my vehicle not only gives it function but it also gives it form. I like to be a little different as well as push the vehicle to be a little better than stock. The extra clearance allows me to do so. As long as you understand the limits of a lifted vehicle and exercise good judgement, there shouldn't be a problem.

I lifted my Tacoma 6" and, IMO, it drives much better with the high performance suspension installed even though the center of gravity was indeed raised. Different strokes for different folks.
