Everybody has thier own sense of loud and mild. Whats loud to you may be quiet to me. On my 04, I cut all the exhaust off behind the Y and eliminated the resonator. Im running 3" tubing from the Y all the way back with a pro street Spintech which is a small muffler, maybe a foot long and 8" across. Its fairly loud but not obnoxious(to me). IT drones, but that doesnt bother me. As it is, i have the stereo up on 50 with a sub and amp on top of that.

Its all about what your comfortable with. IF you can, find someone with a Tundra like yours and listen to it, and go for a ride if they let you. Then youll have a good idea, rather than guessing.
