When the heater is on, there seems to be very little air flow. I have disassembled the blower, all is fine. The suction seems to be between the hood and windshield. I made sure it was all clean as far as I can see. Is there possibly something (filter?) farther downstream that could have been clogged by pine needles, etc?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

There are no filters on either air stream side of the fan although there's usually a screen to keep the big stuff out on the intake side. If you move your control to recirc or max that bypasses the outdoor intake and draws air from inside the car which would eliminate that possibility. You also might try removing the fan again and blow compressed air both directions to see if that clears anything out. The other things to check would be any cables or linkages that operate the doors controlling air directional flow. Did you try the motor while it was out to see if all the speeds worked? Sometimes a resistor is used for motor speed and they can fail as could the switch itself. Just a couple of thought to try if you already haven't. Good Luck

If a combo of all these whizz bangs met their claims you'd have to siphon gas out of your tank every second day and sell the excess horsepower on the third????
If your engine doesn't consume ANY oil it will seize???
