I was installing a rear view camera and had the license plate assembly off the car. As I was taking it off the car the cable disconnected from the back door latch and now I'm not sure exactly how is supposed to go back together.
Is this correct? (
picture) (note how the ball doesn't rest in the mechanism that lifts it to open the door. because of this, the latch doesn't disengage properly)
