Wouldn't that remove the color from the material? I was thinking if it can turn hair a different color it will probably do that to my interior.

I've tried that. It works pretty good too. When it comes in contact with the blood it starts to foam up. At least you can see those oxygen bubbles working the stain. Used a tooth brush as well to work on the stains. The blood was only on there for about a day. Right after I got up in the afternoon I started cleaning it. Don't know how well it would work with old blood though.
