If I where you, depending on your dealer, I will report this to the dealer as excessive front brake fad and shrudder. You Platinum warranty should cover most of the brake component except under normal wear and tear components which should covers the calipers, cylinder, booster, and valves. They might not cover the rotors and pads. Once the assesment is done, see which component is covered and not, tell them about the tbs and atleast get the bigger calipers for your truck, and offer to pay for the better rotors and pads of your choosing for your year truck.

I did this with my wifes LX 470. Different problem coolant was leaking on the top pipe insert on the manifold. Pressure tested the whole cooling system and found that the water pump was also leaking. 89,000 miles. All was covered by warranty.(Not toyota or platinuim plan) I opt to pay for the timing belt, tensioner bearings and 1 hr labor to pull the crank pulley. Cause me $149.00 total for a timing belt replacement.

Just my 2 cents!
