Default Chiltons = Haynes

LOL, I ONLY recently found this out:

Haynes = Chiltons

I bought BOTH and feel stupid because they're both EXACTLY the same. Same text, same pictures (exactly the same) only arranged a little differently.

I decided to keep the Chiltons and listed the Haynes on ebay!

Just an FYI. Don't make MY mistake and buy BOTH. Duh! I feel so dumb.

I'd love to get the original OEM service manual too (especially in electronic format (.pdf) or other that would not take up much room). If anyone else can give advice, please do.

Personally I DO NOT think that you can buy them on amazon. I have seen them on ebay for about $100, but you don't see them very often. I think that last time that I saw them the guy was selling copies that he Xeroxed and still getting almost $100 for them... guess the copies were good. LOL

Toyota dealers sell them for around $210 (for the set of TWO volumes), but OUCH, that's a LOT of dough. Save ya lots of money doing your own maintenance and repairs though. My understanding is that they do have the maintenance info (pretty much all the info that the dealer has, they primarily get from there.

Good LUCK!
