Its unbelievable that parents are on the same maturity level as their teenage kids. I grew up in the Bay Area with all the traffic and congestion but would prefer driving there than any place in Sacramento. I've lived up here for almost 2 years now and have noticed generally how drivers behaive and regard others on the road, not all but most. Turn signals rarely get used, stops signs are yield signs, making lane changes deserves the right of way, right turns on red mean don't stop but speed up to beat the pedestrian, and don't pay attention because the world spins around you. I guess it can be the same wherever you go but out of all the places I've driven in, Sacramento is the only one that makes me feel paranoid that someone is going to run into me.

I'm not sure if Sac has drivers that are any worse that other places I have driven. I will say I try to avoid driving downtown if at all possible. Downtown and my truck are not a good mix. Most downtows are bad IMO, but I really don't like driving in downtown Sac.
