I'd really like to know if anyone has found a way to prevent a rusty rear bumper, they seem to be on every older Toyota with a chrome bumper. When I wax the truck I put a layer of chrome polish on the rear bumper, hoping that it will protect it. It says that it protects from road salt, sand, and works kind of like a wax. I wonder if this will actually work in the long run.
