Here's more proof-
My new skidplate part number is:
PT212-35051

The old junk ones were:
PT212-35050

Also, TacomaOffRoadGrl had the old plate and the new one to compare it to. Here is what was said-
"Okay picked my truck up this morning with the redesigned plate installed. Kudos to Toyota for reacting to this safety hazard so quickly. The new plate looks like the old one except it mounts much closer to the frame of the truck. The original ones had a huge amount of space between the plate and the frame. Also there are 2 vertical braces (mounting hardware) at the top that are screwed to the top of the plate and bolted to the top 2 mounting bolts on the frame. It looks like for you off roaders that it will function much better as well. Also, I had it up to 75MPH on the highway today and not a single vibration......"
