Can anyone offer any advice here and/or a product that might work. I have a white truck. Today I was carrying a wooden push broom and pulled the broom back onlyl to have the round wooden handle end of the broom scrape across my hood. I thought it had only disturbed the dust but further investigation showed a V shaped scuff on my truck about 4 inches long. It was white in color and could be seen at an angle. I thought it would come right off. But after waxes, cleaners, etc. it is still there. And I made it worse by using a polishing compound and now have dulled the paint around the scuff making it stand out even more. Can anyone help. I guess I could go to a detail shop but the thought of a high speed buffer in the hands of a employee who really doesn't know what he is doing doesn't give me a lot of confidence. There has to be some product or method for getting this out. Please advise.
