I have an 05 V8 Sport Edition 4Runner 4wd. I have the Toyota hitch rated at 7000 lbs. ,7 pin wiring; the window sticker stated it has a "tow package". Was uncertain if I have an auxillary transmission cooler. Asked the Toyota Service Manager when I had the first oil change at 3000 mi. He stated my truck does
not have a transmission cooler. So, wanting to pull my camper in a couple of weeks, I went to Uhaul to have a heavy duty transmission cooler installed to the tune of $150.00. The guy took my truck back to the service bay then after about 5 minutes he came out and told me there was a tranny cooler on it already. Does anyone here know for a fact if the V84Runner with 4wd have a tranny cooler. My window sticker states it has the tow package but it's not listed as optional equipment. Please help. Thanks.
