I actually submitted the details of the accident through my insurance company. The NHTSA contacted me asking me to fill out a bunch of forms stating my claim re: faulty lower ball joints. They admitted to me this was not an isolated incident and they were compiling a case for a recall. My Toyota dealer refused to help me with anything regarding a "possible future recall" So I've been waiting for Toyota to step up to the plate and take care of their customers.
