I did not get a letter. Just checked my VIN against the list and called my dealer last Tuesday. They agreed that my truck was part of the recall. They encouraged me to come in ASAP, as their inventory of part kits for the recall was pretty low and the parts were hard to come by. Hearing that news, I booked an appointment for Friday.
Took the truck in on Friday, got it back before the end of the day. So far, I can't tell any change in how it drives. Anyhow, the recall work is done...no fuss, no muss, and no cost.
