I stopped by my dealer yesterday & told them what Toyota Cust. Experience Center had said. One of the service writers said they could order the parts but it could take up to 3 weeks. He said they were repairing the vehicles first that had received recall letters. He didn't seem too happy that I didn't have a recall letter (like I was trying to rip them off or something).
The other guy who I actually dealt with thought what the 1st guy said was strange. He told me that he had already ordered the new parts for other customers & had received the parts quickly.

Once again no one knows what the hell is going on. Or the first guy is a liar.
More than likely they aren't too happy with everyone coming in now asking about getting their trucks fixed. At least they ordered my parts & will call when they get them in. By then I'll have my recall letter (my truck is in the first group Toyota is targeting). That should make those clowns happy.
