Just got off the phone with the Toyota Customer Experience Center; the guy looked up my VIN # and told me, my truck wasn't in the recall! THANK YOU GOD!!! Fact is, I'd already looked at the info in the PDF file contained in the first part of this thread, compared it with my VIN # (myself) and got the same results. But I wanted to hear it, from the SOURCE or the proverbial "horse's mouth" (if you will), before I breathed a sigh of releif. Now that I know, I can proceed with my Wheeler's coils install!
Still though, I can't help but feel for everyone "IN" this recall... it certainly "is" a headache, which I'm sure NONE of you really wanted. To that end, I wish you the VERY BEST at a speedy repair with LITTLE or NO hassle, from the dealership you choose to do the repair.

I did the same thing you did by checking the PDF file and my VIN and my truck was not part of the recall. I also called Toyota Customer Experience Center just to make sure and after checking my VIN the guy stated I was not part of the recall. I'm sure glad that's out of the way, and here I was worrying and waiting for a recall letter like a fool . LOL................
Dave, post pics as soon as you get your lift on. Can't wait to see you truck lifted. PEACE!
