Is it different when people get this in the mail, I have service on my tuck for the rear brake vibration and I'm getting 2 new oxygen sensors on the passenger side, so can I fool them into beleiving this is it. My truck does fall under the repair procedure.
Its best if you just told them theres a recall from Toyota on the lower ball joints. They can locate this information and cross reference it with your truck's VIN and let you know if its is part of it. Thats how I did it for my service manager -- I e-mailed him and asked him to cross reference my truck and found out it was indeed part of the recall. They will most likely set an appointment for you once they have the ball joints in.

Sanosuke!
