On the Tundra's there are 2 posibilities but more than likely it is the Throttle Pedal Sensor not the the Throttle Position Sensor that has gone bad. I had the exact same symptoms when mine went out. I installed it myself in about 15 minutes. On the 2000 it is located on the passenger side of the throttle body. It might be under the accelerator pedal on a 2001 but I am not sure I know they moved it there on later models. Also your sensor will go out again and mine ran fine for a couple of weeks before it went out again. I would take it and get the code ran to be certain and then fix it because it might not start working again next time Good Luck.
