I'd have to agree with (lexusrx2). It just wouldn't look quite right on these trucks without a bedrail cap. Besides, it seems nearly every truck on the market now, had bedrail caps. The ONLY reason, I'd even consider removing the bedrail caps, would be, if you're possibly planning for a topper/camper shell. It's my understanding, in such a case, you DO have to remove the bedrail caps. If that's the case, it's FOR SURE I'd have line-x applied on the rails, before I put a topper on it!
